NYC food carts bring fresh produce to low-income neighborhoods

New York City has approved 1,000 food carts to bring fresh produce to parts of the city that lack sources for reasonably priced, healthful food. The Green Carts do not accept food stamps and are limited to selling raw fruits and vegetables.
