Apple will reach into the past to push a new message

Apple's new round of advertising is expected to change course from its traditional product-oriented strategy to a message that embraces design leadership, reliability and quality across its entire line of hardware, applications and content, according to published reports. Apple, which previewed one spot Monday, will emphasize how the iPhone, iPad and Mac computers work better as a team in an effort to return to the company's original message of helping to improve people's lives.
