DISH's odds get longer as battle for Sprint nears endgame

Sprint Nextel has set a June 25 date to vote on the latest takeover offer from SoftBank, leaving DISH Network with fewer options after its talks with Sprint reportedly fell apart over a number of differences, including the carrier's reported demand for a $3 billion reverse breakup fee. DISH, which has until June 18 to submit a new bid, said it is considering its options. SoftBank Chief Executive Masayoshi Son reportedly changed his mind and sweetened his bid for Sprint to speed up the process.
