A report by Acosta Sales and Marketing finds growing consumer interest in health and wellness, but consumers are confused about nutrition labels and there is little awareness of ranking systems like Guiding Star or Nutrition IQ. "Confusion about health ratings and the propensity of consumers to use the Internet to find information about healthy eating gives CPG companies and retailers the opportunity to help shoppers solve the health and wellness puzzle," according to Acosta.
