Report: Renewables could be 51% of Australia's power by 2050

Renewable sources would provide 51% of Australia's total energy output by 2050 based on the existing growth rate of the country's renewable energy use, according to a report from iTechPost.com. The country's renewable energy consumption rose 4.8% annually from 2012 to the current year while its fossil fuels use drop by 3.1% annually, the report said.
