"Sober minders" help CEOs stay on the straight and narrow

Executives are increasingly hiring "sober minders" to ensure that they stay away from addictive substances. Posing as bodyguards or advisers, the minders offer round-the-clock support for CEOs who can't spare time for rehab. "We'll go for dinner with co-workers or clients and, when the wine comes around, it's me who will say to the waiter: 'Hey, we've been running around all day, how about some chamomile tea?' " says minder Patty Powers.
