SpiderOak writes an open-source app for secure file syncing

SpiderOak is offering an open-source application for Android, Jon Brodkin writes. The secure file syncing company has a reputation as "the Dropbox for the security obsessive" for its unique claim to never store passwords or encryption keys, thus making it impossible for rogue employees to breach the system. The SpiderOak Hive option has made the system easier to implement, and is now available for both Android and iOS, Brodkin writes.
