Survey: Health coach training benefits providers, patients

A report by the Iowa Chronic Care Consortium revealed 88% of health professionals who underwent health coaching training reported having better patient engagement skills and increased ability to talk with patients about making behavior changes. Researchers also found 59% of respondents said health coaching training helped improve communication within the clinic care team, while 67% said they had attained greater job satisfaction and efficiency.
