Finding a new way to map Canada's Atlantic coast

Researchers in Canada have developed a new map of the country's Atlantic coast that divides the area into regions based on commuting data rather than administrative boundaries. The research team -- which includes a geography professor and a former geography graduate student -- hopes policymakers can use the regions to make economic development decisions.
