Comorbidities, education level and race were linked to pain levels related to rotator cuff tears, but not the anatomic features tied to injury severity, University of Wisconsin-Madison researchers reported. The study analyzed data on American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons patient-reported pain scores for 393 cases.
