Cage-free eggs gain ground

Although cage-free eggs make up 5% of the egg market at most, some egg producers are converting their traditional facilities to include more cage-free capacity in order to meet the increasing demand. Grocers including Whole Foods Market, Wild Oats Natural Marketplace, Earth Fare and Jimbo's Naturally sell only cage-free eggs.
