Boeing 787 moves on to ground tests after successful power-on

Boeing's 787 will now enter a progressive ground test phase after achieving the power-on milestone earlier this week. The jetliner is expected to make its maiden flight in late October or early November. The first deliveries are expected in the third quarter of 2009.
