BofA's Lewis remains committed to Countrywide acquisition

Kenneth Lewis, CEO of Bank of America, said Wednesday that the credit crisis has "a ways to go," but he is still committed to buying Countrywide Financial. He said the $3.1 billion deal is an important strategic move for Bank of America. "We think we've got it right," Lewis said of the takeover. "We still have room to make it a financially attractive transaction."
