Commentary: "Faster, better, cheaper" works only 1 at a time

Every company wants to work "faster, better, cheaper," columnist Johna Till Johnson writes, but firms can achieve only one of these goals at a time. While all three goals are admirable, the correct focus depends on the economy: faster during a boom, better during steady growth and cheaper in a crisis.
