Dell tweets, sells more PCs

PC maker Dell credits its Twitter posts for generating more than $3 million in revenue, including more than $1 million in sales during the past six months. Although the figures are just a fraction of Dell's overall sales, which totaled $12.3 billion in the first quarter, they demonstrate the potential for marketers to reap dividends from the microblog, according to this article.
