Students from a New Orleans high school are participating in college classes and visiting area cultural sites this summer as part of the national Project Grad Summer Institute. The program aims to promote high-school graduation and college enrollment for students at low-performing schools, and offers students a small college scholarship for graduating with at least a 2.5 GPA. "They are learning and having a ball," Assistant Principal Margaret Leaf said. "They are acting like college students -- they rise to the expectation of where they are."
