If loans to small businesses are lacking, it's the result of demand, says Beth Mooney, CEO of KeyBank. Mooney spoke this week at a summit on capital formation at the Treasury Department. A theme of the discussion was the differing viewpoints between bankers and small businesses, some of whom say they do not have access to credit and capital. "Most companies who want credit and are creditworthy are having their capital needs met, to the extent it's through a bank loan," Mooney said.
