Examining the big disconnect in IT outsourcing

More companies will be relying on IT outsourcing providers to enable new services and deal with business challenges, but that doesn't mean enterprises will be satisfied with the return on investment, Karl Flinders writes. One reason is that companies aren't putting enough focus on mapping out contractual expectations. "They do not think the suppliers are delivering what they want," said Forrester analyst Lutz Peichert.
