Implementation of Ohio puppy mill legislation is delayed

Legislation regulating the breeding of dogs that was approved in Ohio in December won't go into effect for at least another two weeks while details are finalized. Under the law, breeders must comply with certain standards to ensure animal health and welfare, including clean kennels with enough space to move comfortably, transport cages with adequate space and regular veterinary care.
