Mass. gaming official discusses casino issues

Stephen Crosby, the chairman of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission, on Tuesday discussed the possibilities of a casino proposed for Milford, Mass., and the factors the commission will consider when it decides which projects win a license. "I'm not invested in whether there's a proposal in Milford or not. I want to have competition in eastern Massachusetts, but it's totally up to Milford and, to the extent surrounding communities have a role, it's up to them," Crosby said at a meeting with the 495 MetroWest Partnership in Westborough.
