More research needed on home-based weight-loss programs for children

While some home-based interventions on child-obesity prevention increased fruit and vegetable intake and physical activity, none of them had an impact on weight or body mass index, a review showed. In all six studies, the number of children and teens classified as overweight or obese was similar between the home-based intervention and comparison groups.
