Nonprofit goes back to basics while nurturing leads

A change in marketing tactics helped the nonprofit Israel 365 increase regularly donating subscribers 25% in one day, according to this MarketingSherpa case study. The department had been sending free e-books in e-mails in return for donations but suddenly got diminishing returns. That's when the organization decided to run "a database campaign instead of a fundraising campaign," founder Tuly Weisz said.
