Rush prosthetic foot is designed for athletes

The Rush Foot is a new foot prosthesis developed by Ability Dynamics that is intended for active amputees. The device can get wet and endure extreme temperatures, according to Richard Sainz, clinical manager at the company, a congenital amputee who wears a Rush Foot. The prosthesis allows patient Steven Osborn, who lost his leg at 14, to run, wake surf, snowboard and participate in competitive sports.
