Denmark to make it easier for trans citizens to change birth certificates

The Danish parliament on Wednesday adopted legislation that removes requirements for a medical diagnosis of "gender identity disorder" in order to amend a person's gender on legal documents. The law will be the first of its kind in Europe once it takes effect in September.
