Facebook exec says relevancy is key to ad success

Social discovery of relevant information is the driving force behind Facebook algorithms that determine what content and ads appear on users' News Feeds, says Facebook's director of product management, Will Cathcart. "One of the ways to think about advertising and the News Feed is that our job is to produce the most relevant things for each person," he said.
