With $5M in funding, Openads ready for Google rivalry

Startup Openads, London, which provides free software to Web sites to administer Net ad campaigns, has attracted $5 million in its first round of funding. The company, which began as a grassroots, open-source entity, is seeking to improve its competitive position against rival Google's AdSense.
