AMA delegates to vote on use of undercover patients

The American Medical Association's ethics council is calling for approval of the use of undercover patients who feign illnesses and symptoms to test the competency and care of providers and health care facilities. AMA delegates are expected to vote on the issue this weekend, but some are calling the concept deceitful.
