Overactive bladder reduces quality of life, increases medical problems

Rates of diabetes, asthma, certain cancers and other conditions are higher in men and women with overactive bladders than in people without overactive bladders, a study in the journal BJU International found. Having an overactive bladder also seems to affect work productivity and emotional well-being, according to the study.
