Stony Brook begins nursing practice doctoral program

Stony Brook University in New York is taking a step toward solving the nursing shortage by offering a new doctorate degree program in nursing practice. It is hoped that the initiative, which will train nurses to become school faculty, will lead to more capacity for students who want to attend nursing programs.
