39 Massachusetts hospitals, health centers get $20M HIT boost

The Patrick-Murray administration in Massachusetts has awarded $20 million in funds to 39 in-state hospitals and community health facilities. "This funding gives needed financial support to providers ... to improve services for patients and control rising health care costs by making investments in health information technology and promoting a global payment system," Gov. Deval L. Patrick said.
