EU members are poised to approve "open skies," sources say

Transportation ministers from the 27 European Union member nations appear set to approve the latest "open skies" deal with the U.S., sources said. The deal would further the deregulation of airline marketing and operations between the EU and the U.S., although passengers and airlines likely won't see much in the way of change. But a rejection of the deal would be a significant blow for liberalization.
