Selling '60s fashion to the modern masses

"Mad Men" creator Matthew Weiner and the show's costume designer, Janie Bryant, have together helped restore 1960s fashions to contemporary professional wardrobes. They say their working relationship is successful because they've learned to reconcile their strong opinions to create a balanced dynamic. Bryant has "that Southern aspect to her -- where everything is said in a very polite way with a smile -- but deep down she's pretty tenacious," says Scott Hornbacher, executive producer of the show.
