USDA grants full license to canine flu vaccine

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has granted a full license to Nobivac Canine Flu H3N8, reportedly the first vaccine against canine influenza virus. The vaccine, developed by Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health, is administered by injection in two doses and may be given to dogs 6 weeks or older.
