Christie's Medicaid cuts get him more national publicity

With states throughout the U.S. struggling to pay for soaring health care costs, Republican Gov. Chris Christie's plan to slash $540 million from his state's Medicaid funding is drawing national attention. Under Christie's proposal, a parent with two children earning more than $103 a week would be ineligible for Medicaid in New Jersey.
