Language arts lessons go digital:

In some classrooms, language arts lessons have moved beyond text to incorporate video, audio and still images. The focus, teachers say, is on teaching students to use and create multimedia to communicate. Teachers say the shift allows students, who might not excel at writing, to demonstrate their strengths in other areas and also may help students guide their own learning.
