LinkedIn gains users after going public

LinkedIn in May, when it launched the first IPO for the social-network segment, garnered 6.7% more users for a total of 33.4 million, comScore is reporting. The business social network, which dropped 2.5% in April, now ranks just behind Myspace as the second most-popular social-network site. Facebook stands in first place away from the pack.
