Technology helps enhance science instruction for students

While computer simulations, 3D modeling and other technology are enhancing science instruction in high-school classrooms, more sophisticated use of these tools, as well as virtual science labs used by college students, may be hampered by a lack of curriculum and support materials geared for high-school teachers and students. Some programs and schools are using digital technology to tap students' imaginations and foster collaboration to solve scientific problems.
