Uniqlo to get more creative with US expansion

As Japan's Uniqlo carries out an ambitious plan to expand in the US, it has hired former Wieden+Kennedy creative director Todd Waterbury to lead the creation of campaigns that promote the Japanese fast-fashion chain "with a New York inflection," he says. Uniqlo, which has 1,013 stores around the world including a New York flagship, plans to expand in major US cities as part of a push to hit nearly $60 billion in sales by 2020.
