FDA plan to widen access to emergency contraceptive OK'd by judge

U.S. District Judge Edward Korman approved Wednesday the FDA proposal to remove age and point-of-sale restrictions for the Plan B One-Step emergency contraceptive. The plan was enough to conform with the verdict to make the pill available to females of all ages without a prescription, Korman said.
