Medicaid proposal introduced in Ohio Legislature

Legislators in Ohio presented a bipartisan Medicaid proposal designed to lower Medicaid costs and increase efficiency. The bill would make it easier for beneficiaries to transfer to lower-cost services, create an oversight committee and reduce emergency department use. One sponsor called the legislation a first step toward expanding eligibility.
