There's a 95% chance your hands are filthy

Just 1 in 20 people know to wash their hands for long enough to kill germs, and 22% of women and half of men don't bother to use soap, according to a survey that involved covertly monitoring hand-washing behavior in a public restrooms. At least 20 seconds of hand-washing is needed to kill germs, but the average observed hand-washing time lasted only six seconds.
