Tips for growing a lawn within a drought-tolerant landscape

Drought-tolerant landscapes, or "xeriscapes," are a good choice for areas with dry weather, but if the proper steps are taken, they also can include a small lawn, writes Jacqueline Soule. She suggests selecting a drought-tolerant variety and planting below grade to get a good soaking during rainfall.
