Wis. prosecutor expects to add charges in animal death case

A husband and wife from Wisconsin have been charged with five counts each of felony animal mistreatment leading to death. More charges could be added related to the deaths of two cows, 55 horses and 12 goats, according to a prosecutor. Lawyers representing the couple argued the charges should be reduced to misdemeanors. An assistant district attorney argued the mistreatment was intentional and amounted to murder.
