Twitter's second-in-command makes his exit

Twitter's chief operating officer is leaving the company after presiding over a failed effort to attract new users and boost activity by existing users. Ali Rowghani had seen his responsibilities significantly diminish in recent months, and his departure was welcomed by some analysts. "Product innovation hasn't kept up with the pace as expected by management and investors ... We think the reshuffling makes sense," writes SunTrust analyst Robert S. Peck.
