Wal-Mart challenges new online chief to boost U.S. sales

Wal-Mart increased its online sales in Brazil at twice the rate of the market under the leadership of Fernando Madeira, whose team expanded the number of products available and improved order fulfillment. Now, the retailer hopes the executive can replicate that success in the U.S. as the new head of online business.
