Deborah Lynch appears ousted as Chicago Teachers Union head

Preliminary results from last Friday's runoff election for the presidency of the Chicago Teachers Union indicate that special education teacher Marilyn Stewart narrowly defeated incumbent Deborah Lynch. Stewart received 11,566 votes, compared to Lynch's 11,006.
