Kodak technology increases light sensitivity in image sensors

Eastman Kodak will introduce a new technology today that it says will improve digital-photo quality in dim lighting. Kodak says its technology can be applied to any image sensor and increase light sensitivity by a factor of two to four. Prototypes are due in 2008.
