Advocate urges educators to empower students with disabilities

Jonathan Mooney, an author and activist for people with special needs, believes schools should help students with disabilities overcome negative perceptions of themselves to empower them to succeed. Mooney, who has dyslexia, wrote the book "Learning Outside the Lines" and speaks to teachers and parents across the country about various approaches to educating students with disabilities.
