Ev3 plans to expand facility in Minnesota

Vascular device maker ev3 said in a regulatory filing that it has renewed its lease until 2014 for its industrial plant in Plymouth, Minn., with plans to expand the facility by 33%. The lease extension shows the company's interest in retaining its operations in the Twin Cities despite its pending sale to Covidien for about $2.6 billion.
