Investors need to share your values, Zappos CEO says

Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh says that being acquired by Amazon.com last year was a blessing in disguise as the online retailer has allowed the shoe company to have more freedom than its previous board led by venture capital investors. "They believe that our culture is what's driven our business," Hsieh says of Amazon, emphasizing that entrepreneurs shouldn't take money from investors who don't share their values.
